I have an iRiver mp3 player.model ifp-790. I still have the original software disc for installing the 'iRiver music manager' (software version 3.16) which is the required software/driver combo needed to load music on and off the device. This was allworking well just before the cumulative windows 10 update.

Since that time the software does not recognize the device when it is plugged into the usb port. There does not seem to be a driver fix anywhere. I am wondering: a) if there ever will be a driverfix as the device and software are now about 12 years old, and b) are there any other work-a-rounds which would allow me to continue to use this mp3 player which is a great little device which I would love to continue to use.
